Curious that ABC is calling this the "first Presidential Debate of the 2008 cycle" when this is the 4th debate after CA, SC, & NH. So one naturally wonders how ABC reckons that this is the first debate.
Although, they could have said that it's the first debate with nine candidates as this the first debate since Jim Gilmore dropped out.
And it's not the first presidential forum in Iowa in the 2008 cycle. And how do we know this, class? Because Ron Paul was locked out on 30June2007 in Iowa from the Iowans for Tax Relief/Iowa Christian Alliance presidential forum. So, ABC doesn't count this as a forum in Iowa?
So hey, ABC. I'm supposed to believe you're paying attention to what you're reporting? Otherwise, this is some real frosh copywriting. Oh, I know, the fact checkers were at lunch. Riiight.
