National Gun Rights Policy Conference to be Held in Cincinnati Area
BELLEVUE, Wash., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 22nd annual Gun Rights Policy Conference will be held this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct. 5-7 at the Drawbridge Inn & convention Center in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati.
The conference will feature appearances by presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne La Pierre, Second Amendment Foundation President (SAF) Joe Tartaro and Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA). The event is co-sponsored by SAF and CCRKBA, with support from other organizations.
Panels will feature more than forty speakers including Larry Pratt, Gun Owners of America Executive Director; CCRKBA Public Affairs Director John Snyder, authors John Lott, Clayton Cramer, David T. Hardy and Kenneth Blanchard; Jeff Knox, operations manager for the Firearms Coalition; David Kopel, senior policy analyst at the Independence Institute; Congresswoman Jean Schmidt (R-OH), and attorneys Robert A. Levy and Alan Gura, counsel in the Parker v. District of Columbia Second Amendment case currently under appeal to the United States Supreme Court.
Over the two-day event, panels will discuss state and federal gun legislation, Right-to-Carry laws, international gun control efforts, exploiting new communications technologies, firearms litigation, firearms in the workplace, and the 2008 presidential campaign.
